A programme of archaeological monitoring and recording was conducted during groundworks associated with residential development on land to the north-east of Skellingthorpe Road, Lincoln. Extensive disturbance caused by modern activity was noted across much of the site, with the groundworks often not extending beyond layers of modern overburden. The remains of a single large pit of unknown date was the only feature of archaeological interest encountered. {1}{2}
