A programme of archaeological monitoring and recording was conducted during groundworks associated with the construction of a new swimming pool at Sutton House, 8 High Street, Long Sutton. Brick foundations for the current retaining wall for the garden patio were noted, along with a small assemblage of 19th and 20th century pottery. No archaeologically significant features, deposits, or finds were encountered though. {1}{2}
