Description
Archaeological monitoring was undertaken in July 2019 during the excavation of footings for residential development. A single piece of residual 12th century pottery was recorded in the topsoil. The site is located within the historic grounds (MLI98376) of a hall (MLI53236) and several undated pits encountered were interpreted as being backfilled tree boles associated with an orchard. {1}{2}
