A magnetometry survey was conducted on land at Spittlegate Junction, Grantham, to inform the proposed creation of a new junction off the A1 road. Two roughly triangular groups of linears forming enclosures were encountered, along with a possible pit alignment and a probable palaeochannel towards the south of the survey area. Several other anomalies were encountered but deemed likely to be either of geological or modern origin. {1}{2}
