Description

Two trial trenches were excavated on land at Skirbeck Road, Boston, to inform the construction of a new local centre. Layers of crushed mortar and other demolition material of a c.14th-16th century date were encountered. This material may relate to the demolition of the nearby Augustinian friary during the Dissolution. {1}{2}
