A programme of archaeological monitoring and recording was conducted during groundworks for a new residential development at Corner Farm, Towngate West, Market Deeping. A series of pits and possible ditches was encountered. Post-Medieval pottery dating to the mid-16th to 18th centuries recovered from one pit suggests the features are likely to relate to agricultural activity before the construction of the farmstead. {1}{2}
