A programme of archaeological monitoring and recording was conducted on land adjacent to Coronation Farm, Burgh Road West, Skegness, during groundworks for the installation of a solar farm and associated infrastructure. Approx. 1.25km of trenches were excavated for CCTV cabling around the perimeter of the site during which a single pit was encountered, containing 18th-19th century slipware and a single pipe stem fragment. Another 1.4km of trenches for HV cables were also excavated, revealing no archaeologically significant features, deposits or finds. {1}
