Description

The geophysical survey detected probable late prehistoric and Romano-British enclosures within a larger field system. The enclosures are located along a former seasonal stream which was possibly used for livestock management. Medieval ridge and furrow cultivation was recorded, indicating a shift from settlement and livestock management to extensive arable usage. A gravel pit and 20th century features associated with gardens and allotments were also recorded. {1}
