A programme of archaeological monitoring and recording was conducted during groundworks for the construction of a new residential dwelling and detached garage on land adjacent to Clear View, School Lane, North Kelsey on 26th-27th May 2021, and then on the 23rd December 2021. A series of four pits were identified in the new building footprint. The pits did not contain any finds, however they were recorded below a post-medieval buried soil horizon, and so were interpreted as having a possible medieval origin.
