A programme of archaeological monitoring and recording was conducted during groundworks for the construction of a new residential dwelling with detached garage on land adjoining Corner Cottage, Faldingworth Road, Spridlington. A brick-lined cess pit of late 19th century date was identified, but no significant archaeological features, deposits or finds were encountered. {1}{2}
