A magnetometry survey was conducted to inform proposed development on land at Somerby Top, Somerby. The survey recorded a number of magnetic anomalies, thought to represent the remains of a linear boundary ditch and possible pit. No conclusive dating evidence for these features could be determined, however, and their exact origin remains uncertain. {1} The geophysical survey was conducted as part of a wider desk based assessment of the proposed development site (see SLI16471).
