A programme of archaeological monitoring and recording was conducted during repair works and the creation of a new works compound at the Bain Valley Bankworks, Dalderby Lock. The groundworks were very shallow and did not extend beyond a modern made ground layer underlying the topsoil. No archaeological features, deposits or finds were encountered. {1}{2}
