Description
Fieldwalking to the east of Ling Lane was carried out by Grantham College Adult Education Class, led by Cheryl Gallimore. It was carried out in bright light, loam soil with some clay on limestone geology. The soil state was damp, and weathering was medium, 75% soil exposure, and collection was 20m square, over an area of 120m by 40m. {1}
