A programme of archaeological monitoring and recording was conducted during groundworks for the construction of Bishopthorpe Windfarm, Tetney. Archaeologists monitored the stripping of a 700m long access trackway and the digging of foundations for a turbine and crane site. No finds, features or deposits of archaeological interest were uncovered, although it should be noted that the groundworks for the trackway were shallow and did not extend beyond the topsoil. {1}{2}
