A detailed magnetic gradiometer survey was conducted to inform proposed development on land at Habertoft Lane, Willoughby with Sloothby. Archaeologically important findings included magnetic anomalies thought to represent the remains of undated, but likely pre-19th century, enclosures and a possible saltern. Non-archaeologically significant finds include a network of 19th century field drains and field boundaries, as well as a palaeochannel, which were recorded as a concentration of linear magnetic anomalies. {1}{2}
