Description
A programme of archaeological monitoring and recording was conducted during the excavation of service, drainage and garden wall trenches associated with a new dwelling at Spring Barn, Upton. Extensive truncation of the topsoil and subsoil deposits was revealed across most of the site, although the remains of two possible ditches were recorded. No finds were recovered from these features, however, and their exact origin remains unknown. {1}{2}
