A programme of archaeological monitoring and recording was conducted during groundworks for the construction of a new rear extension to 18-20 Michaelgate, Lincoln. The groundworks were relatively shallow, and did not extend beyond layers of modern made ground on the site. No archaeologically significant features, deposits or finds were therefore encountered. {1}{2}
