A programme of archaeological monitoring and recording was conducted during groundworks for the construction of extensions to Beggars Roost, at Priory Road, Stamford. The groundworks were relatively shallow, and did not extend beyond layers of modern made ground and rubble on the site. No archaeological features, deposits or finds were therefore encountered. {1}{2}
