Description
An archaeological watching brief was conducted during groundworks for the construction of a new vehicular access path at the Church of St Helen, Lea. The groundworks were relatively shallow, and no archaeological features were encountered, although fragments of disarticulated human bone were identified in the stripped soil. {1}{2}
