A programme of historic building recording was conducted to inform proposed alterations at 23-24 St George's Street, Stamford. The proposed alterations consisted of the reinstatement of an internal staircase, to allow the future sub-division of the building back to its original two properties. The investigation recorded portions of the original straw and daub used in the internal walls in the attic, along with more recent joists and boards relating to the earlier amalgamation. {1}{2}
