Description

In 1961, Mr E. Greenfield excavated a site at Shell Bridge, Holbeach St John.{1} Two areas (Site A and Site B) were excavated, located around the areas excavated by Mayes and Mossop in 1960 - see LI651. The work was carried out by Ernest Greenfield for the Ministry of Works, assisted by S J Hallam and V Russell.{2}
