A programme of archaeological monitoring and recording was conducted during the groundworks for residential development on land at 50 Bunkers Hill, Lincoln. A partially exposed deposit of limestone fragments, thought to have possibly formed part of the footings for a former building, was recorded along with the remains of two stone-constructed drains. No dating evidence was recovered from any of the features, however, and their exact origin remains unknown. {1}{2}
