Description

A scheme of archaeological monitoring and recording was conducted during the groundworks for extensions to The Old Vicarage, at Church Street, Thurlby. Deposits of clay, sand and gravel were recorded to the south and east of the vicarage. Although no dating eveidence was recovered, these deposits were thought to have formed part of the west bank of the adjacent Car Dyke. {1}{2}
