Description

A magnetic gradiometer survey was undertaken to inform the proposed construction of a solar farm on land at Deepdale Farm, Moor Lane, Leasingham. Two linear magnetic anomalies were the only definite features identified, though a number of inconclusive and isolated pit-like responses were also recorded. One of the linear features was thought to be of probable prehistoric or Roman date, though the other clearly related to a former, late post-medieval field boundary. {1}{2}
