A scheme of archaeological monitoring was conducted during the groundworks phase of construction for new housing on land at The Rookery, East Road, Navenby. A demolition deposit and a circular, brick-lined well, both clearly associated with former post-medieval cottages on the site, were the only archaeological features identified. {1}{2}
