Description

An investigation was conducted to inform proposed conservation works to a retaining wall, built against the north bank of Lincoln Castle, behind nos. 41 - 59 Westgate Road. Five trial pits were dug but the excavated material consisted solely of modern rubble and garden dumps and no archaeological material was identified. {1}{2}
