Description

Eight trial trenches were excavated by Oxford Archaeology at the A1/A151 and A1/B6403 Colsterworth Interchange in May 2004. A fragment of Medieval to post-Medieval tile and a basal sherd of late Medieval to early post-Medieval pottery were recovered from the topsoil, but no archaeologically significant features or deposits were encountered. {1}{2}
