A programme of archaeological monitoring and recording was conducted during groundworks for an extension to the existing General Buildings structure at Brayford Wharf East, Lincoln. The remains of a brick wall was identified, very likely relating to the mid 19th century structures that formerly occupied the site, but no archaeologically significant features, deposits or artefacts were encountered. {1}{2}
