Description
Three trial trenches were excavated to inform a proposed extension to Creeton Quarry. The trenches were targeted to investigate magnetic anomalies identified by a previously conducted geophysical survey (see ELI11222). All of the anomalies were found to be of modern or natural origin, and no archaeological features, deposits or finds were encountered. {1}{2}
