Description
A one metre by one metre test pit was excavated at 2 Castlebank, Torksey by the University of Sheffield on the 6th July 2011. A dog skull, a sherd of late 18th to 20th century pottery and a fragment of ceramic building material dating from sometime after the 18th century was revealed. {1}{2}
