Description
A watching brief was undertaken at the rear of 17/18 St George's Square, Stamford by Neville Hall in September, October and December 2010. Six undated clay extraction pits, residual 10th to mid 11th century pottery, 18th century pottery and 19th to 20th century pottery was found. {1}{2}
