Description
A trial trench was excavated by Pre-Construct Archaeological Services at Glebe Field, Horncastle Road, Mareham le Fen in October 2010. A pit or ditch terminus which contained cattle bone and tooth and animal bone, a beam slot feature and evidence of ridge and furrow was revealed. {1}{2}
