Description
A programme of archaeological monitoring was conducted during the excavation of trenches for a new drain and soakaway at the Church of St Laurence, Corringham. Human remains of uncertain date, in the form of three articulated burials and fragments of disarticulated bone, were recorded during the monitoring. Three sherds of medieval pottery were also recovered from the graveyard soil. {1}{2}
