Description

Two trial trenches were excavated on land at 4 to 12 Church Street, Donington, in June 2010. A 19th to 20th century dump deposit including pottery, clay pipe and tile was found in trench one. In Trench two medieval pits and pottery and an undated pit and former yard surface were found. {1}{2}
