Description

Archaeological monitoring and recording was carried out during the excavation of a service trench in the churchyard. A graveyard soil formed during the medieval period until the 19th century was revealed as well as probable evidence of the 19th century restoration of the church. Articulated and disarticulated human remains were observed but not retained. {1}{2}
