Description

An archaeological monitoring and recording of a geotechnical trial pit at the rear of the Tower Hotel, 38 Westgate, Lincoln in May 2008. A wall footing and the robber trench of a former wall, both possibly from a Roman building were revealed along with two fragments of opus signinium (mosaic) and possibly medieval limestone blocks. {1}{2}
