Description

Four trial trenches were excavated in advance of proposed residential development. A fifth trench was proposed however access to this area was not possible. All trenches apart from trench three contained only a natural alluvial sequence. Trench three contained two undated linear features and a dumped deposit containing early Roman pottery. {1}{2}
