A gradiometer and resistivity scanning survey was undertaken at The Hoplands, Ewerby and Evedon, by Engineering Archaeological Services Ltd in November 1996. Dense anomalies were identified in the south west area which are aligned with the Roman Road and are possibly contemporary. Two linear features were also identified in the north east and east of the site. {1}{2}
