Description

A site visit was made to Langrick Grange Farm in July 2010, by officers of the Heritage Trust of Lincolnshire. Large quantities of animal bone (pig, sheep) and shell (oyster, cockle and whelk) were identified in the suspected area of Armtree deserted medieval village. The finds were thought to be of probable medieval date. It was reported that large pieces of stone and fragments of medieval pottery are also regularly found on the site during ploughing.
