A scheme of archaeological monitoring and recording was conducted during the groundworks for the construction of a replacement school building at The William Harrison School, Middlefield Lane, Gainsborough. No archaeologically significant features or deposits were encountered and only modern finds, probably associated with the levelling of the playing field, were recovered. {1}{2}
