Description
SK 97 NE SOUTH CARLTON NORTH STREET (north side) 5/66 The Hall (Formerly listed as the Manor House) 30-11-66 II House. Early C18 with late C18 and C20 alterations. Coursed squared limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and dressings, raised stone coped gables with kneelers, plain tiled roof, 2 brick gable stacks and one ridge stack to rear range. T-plan. 5 bay 2 storey front with attics having plinth and moulded eaves band. Central C20 panelled door with traceried fanlight flanked by single tall glazing bar lights. The 3 elements united under a cornice. Flanked by pairs of tall glazing bar sashes. To first floor 5 glazing bar sashes. In the roof are 3 glazing bar casement dormers with hipped tile roof and lead dressings. To rear a lower 2 storey 6 bay wing. Listing NGR: SK9515076654
