Description
TF 07 NW NETTLEHAM HIGH STREET (south side) 5/47 No.19 G.V. II House. Late C17 with minor alterations of C19 and C20. Squared limestone rubble with pantile roof, having 2 brick gable and a single ridge stacks. 3 unit plan. Single storey with attics, 4 bay front with brick eaves course. Off centre C20 door with plain overlight, with to left a plain sliding sash and to right 2 glazing bar sliding sashes. All openings have timber lintels. In the roof at eaves level is a C20 gabled 3 light dormer. Interior: chamfered beams with simple stops to all rooms with central inglenook with deeply chamfered beam and elaborately stepped stop. All doors are original, 6 panelled with LH hinges and door furniture, in good moulded architraves. In the parlour are late C17 cupboards to either side of the fireplace with reeded pilasters, 6 panelled doors, keyblock with carved heart. The main stair has turned balusters to risers and splat balusters to the landing. Back stairs rise from the kitchen. Listing NGR: TF0068075262
