SK 87 SW NEWTON-ON-TRENT HIGH STREET (east side) 6/45 The Reindeer G.V. II Public House. C17 with C19 alterations and additions of C20. Rendered red brick with pantile roof and single axial brick ridge stack. Lobby entry plan. 2 storey 3 bay front with plinth, central gabled porch with 4 panelled door and small side lights, with to left a single glazing bar sash and to right a larger fixed glazing bar light. To first floor to eaves are 2 glazing bar sashes. To right of front is a C20 single storey extension. Interior of right hand room retains large moulded principal beam with shield stepped stops and facetted and stopped joists. Fireplace bressummer is retained but cased in. Listing NGR: SK8329074255
