SK 97 NE RISEHOLME off RISEHOLME LANE 4/60 Gravestone and railings at Riseholme Church, 10 paces from East end of Church G.V. II Gravestone and railings. 1853. Possibly by S. S. Teulon. To John Kaye, Bishop of Lincoln. Ashlar, with brass railings. In the form of a cross with a gabled top, cusped cross to the head end, quatrefoils at the arms, and at the foot a roundel containing the Bishop's arms, flanked by the letters J.K. The stone rests on a re-used base, surmounted by delicate brass railings with twisted stems and trident knops. The Bishop was the founder of Riseholme Church and lived at the adjacent Riseholme Hall.
