Description
TF 18 NE NORTH WILLINGHAM MAIN ROAD (north side) 3/24 Old Post Office and adjacent cottage(opposite junction with Sixhills Road) II Pair of cottages. Late C17 with C19 alterations. Painted red brick with pantile roof having axial stack and coursed limestone rubble and render in rear wing. Lobby entry. T-plan. Single storey with attics, 5 bay front with first floor band. Left hand cottage has a central planked door flanked by single tripartite glazing bar sashes. Right hand cottage has planked door with to right a single similar window. In the roof are 3 gabled dormers with 2 light sliding sashes having brick gables and planked cheeks. Interior retains chamfered girders with simple stops and a moulded mantle.
