On the 2nd floor, the middle 3 bays are open with a collonade of paired ashlar Doric columns, supporting plain parapet over; the balcony has wrought iron balustrade of overlapping circles. At the rear are C20 single storey extensions and the rear front has a venetian window at 1st floor and an elliptical opening light to 2nd floor, both openings light the stairway. Interior: The staircase rises through 3 storeys and has swept flights and plain balustrades. The space between stairway and hall is defined by an elliptical arch. There are chaste cornices to the ceilings, full shutters to the windows, moulded architraves with a Greek form to the corners, and all the doors are 6 panelled and contemporary with the house.
