Description
SWALLOW 369/0/10003 CAISTOR ROAD 25-OCT-01 (Northwest,off) Horse Gin at Swallow Grange GV II Horse gin, or horse engine. 1825. Built for the Earl of Yarborough's estate. White brick with white brick dressings and slate roof with lead ridges. Dentilated brick eaves. Hexagonal plan, single storey. West face has segment arched doorway in double arched surround. Alternating blank sides with single segment arched windows to other sides. Windows have 4 small fixed lights above and sliding shuttered ventilator below.
