Description
TF 19 NE THORESWAY MAIN STREET (south east side) 4/59 Old Rectory II Rectory now house. Early C19. Rendered and painted brick, ashlar. Hipped slate roof with overhanging eaves and 2 ridge stacks. South east front of 2 storeys and 7 bays with flat first floor band and double bands at eaves. 3 central bays project in large bow with giant order ionic columns and pilasters alternating with 2 tiers of 3 glazing bar sashes. Bow flanked by 2 glazing bar sashes on each side, with 2 more above, on each side. All the windows have moulded cornices on brackets. 2 storey 5 bay north-east front with projecting central porch with 6 panel door flanked by pilasters with broad entablature, modillioned cornice and ornate overlight. Porch flanked by 2 glazing bar sases on each side, with 5 above, all with moulded cornices on brackets. Listing NGR: TF1700696632
