Description
TF 09 SW GLENTHAM CHURCH LANE 4/20 Manor House 1.11.66 G.V. II Farmhouse. Possibly C17, with early C18 addition and early C19 alterations. Lined stucco, slate roof stone kneelers and coping, deep overhanging eaves, 2 brick gable and one ridge stacks. Parallel range in part, the rear range is earlier, and has a pantiled roof. The front is of 2 storeys with 5 bays of irregular fenestration. The off centre C19 double 6 panelled door has a traceried fanlight in a reeded doorcase with open pediment. To left is a glazing bar sash and to right a tripartite glazing bar bay window with lead roof. Beyond is a further glazing bar sash and a 6 panelled door covered by a C20 temporary porch. To 1st floor are 4 sash windows, 3 with glazing bars and the one on the right is plain. The interior has an early C18 corner cupboard; other fittings, stairs and architraves date to early C19.
