Description
SK 98 SW AISTHORPE CHURCH LANE 1/4 Tomb and railings at Church of St.Peter, 10 yards from east angle of church G.V. II Tomb and railings. Probably 1860 by T. C. Hine of Nottingham. Red sandstone with cast iron railings. Monument in the form of a cross, the lowest course with a coped top. Above is a further coped element supported on round columns with decorated capitals in a C13 style. Inscribed to Ann Ealand, d.1858. Sculpted by W. Ray of Lincoln. Contemporary cast iron rails with decorative finials and twisted angle and top rails. Listed for group value only. Listing NGR: SK9464280188
